11th Annual OCRID Research Symposium Call for Abstracts

The Oklahoma Center for Respiratory and Infectious Diseases (OCRID) invites the submission of abstracts that report recent research broadly related to respiratory and/or infectious diseases. Abstracts will be presented at the poster session of the 11th Annual OCRID Research Symposium, to be held at Meditations in Stillwater, on April 4, 2024.

Poster Competition Information:
Postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, and undergraduate students who are first author on abstracts are eligible for the poster competition.
Awards with cash prizes will be provided for the best poster in four categories.
- Best Undergraduate Student Poster: $250
- Best Graduate Student Poster: $250
- Best Postdoctoral Fellow Poster: $250
- Best Overall Poster: $500
Winners will be announced at the end of the poster session.
To participate in the poster competition, you must place (postdoc), (grad student), or (undergrad) after your name. Abstracts and posters will be reviewed based on scientific merit and relevance to respiratory infectious diseases in two stages: 1) Abstracts will first be evaluated by the Organizing Committee; 2) For those abstracts selected by the Organizing Committee, their posters will be judged by the External Advisory Committee at the poster session.
