Dr. Ashlee Ford Versypt Receives $1.8M+ NIH Grant
OCRID pilot project leader (2016-2017), Dr. Ford-Versypt was awarded an R35 MIRA ESI grant from National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS). MIRA ESI stands for Maximizing Investigators' Research Award for Early Stage Investigators and is an NIGMS' new program that supports an investigator's overall program of research. The grant is worth over $1.8 million for 5 years. The grant entitled "Quantitative Systems Biomedicine and Pharmacology for Multiscale Tissue Damage." is worth over $1.8 million and will support Dr. Ford-Versypt for five years. Dr. Ford-Versypt is an Assistant Professor in School of Chemical Engineering at Oklahoma State University. Congratulations Dr. Ford-Versypt!
