OCRID Project Leader, Dr. Shitao Li, Receives a $1.7 Million Grant
Recieved from the National Institutes of Health R01 grant, the "Role of FIP200 in RIG-I-mediated innate immunity." The grant spans five years and will help Li and his team understand the regulatory mechanisms for interferon production. This will provide the insights needed to design therapies for infectious and autoimmune diseases. Dr. Li is an assistant professor in the Department of Physiological Sciences.
